RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

SECTION A: GENERAL POLICY (OUTSIDE EU/EEA)

This section applies to all customers outside the European Union and European Economic Area.

RETURNS

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

•       Unworn, unwashed, and unaffected

•       With all original tags and packaging intact

•       Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

To start a return, email contact@anothersect.com with your order number and reason. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  ℹ️  Returns are not accepted on sale items or gift cards.

EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges on unworn, unwashed, and unaffected items with all original tags and packaging. Exchanges are not available on sale items.

Email anothersect@gmail.com with your order number, the item you wish to exchange, and the size/colour you want. We will send a pre-paid return label and dispatch your replacement when available. If the item is out of stock, a refund will be issued instead.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Inspect your order upon receipt. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at contact@anothersect.com with photos and a description. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following cannot be returned or exchanged:

•       Sale items

•       Gift cards

•       Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)

•       Custom or personalised products

•       Personal care goods (beauty products)

•       Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. If approved, your refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process it.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at anothersect@gmail.com.

SECTION B: EU/EEA CUSTOMER POLICY

This section applies to customers located in the European Union or European Economic Area (EU/EEA). EU consumer law takes precedence over Section A where there is any conflict.

RETURNS — 30-DAY VOLUNTARY WINDOW

In addition to your statutory rights (see below), we voluntarily offer a 30-day return window from delivery for unworn, unwashed, and unaffected items with original tags and packaging.

  ℹ️  Your statutory EU rights described below are always available regardless of this voluntary policy.

14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (COOLING-OFF PERIOD)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your item — without giving any reason.

How to Withdraw

Notify us before the 14-day period expires by:

•       Emailing contact@anothersect.com with your order number and a clear withdrawal statement, or

•       Completing the EU Model Withdrawal Form provided at the end of this policy

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us.

Return Shipping Costs

You bear the direct return shipping cost unless we have agreed to cover it. If we fail to inform you of this cost before your purchase, we will cover return shipping.

Your Refund

We will refund all payments received — including standard delivery charges — within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may delay until we receive the returned goods or proof of dispatch (whichever comes first).

Refunds are always made to your original payment method. We cannot substitute with store credit, vouchers, or gift cards unless you explicitly request this.

  ⚠️  If we fail to properly inform you of your right of withdrawal before purchase, your withdrawal period is automatically extended to 12 months from the delivery date.

Reduced Refund for Excessive Use

You may inspect the item as you would in a physical store. If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to assess its nature and functioning (e.g. worn outside, tags removed), we may reduce your refund proportionally to reflect the diminished value.

2-YEAR LEGAL GUARANTEE

All goods sold to EU/EEA customers are covered by a mandatory 2-year legal guarantee from the delivery date. If your item is defective, not as described, or does not function as intended, you are entitled to:

•       Free repair or replacement

•       A full or partial refund if repair/replacement is impossible or takes unreasonably long

Defects appearing within the first year of delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery — the burden of proof is on us. In some EU member states this reversed burden extends to 2 years.

  ℹ️  This 2-year guarantee is separate from and in addition to our voluntary return policy.

EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges on unworn, unwashed, unaffected items with all original tags and packaging. Exchanges are not available on sale items.

Email anothersect@gmail.com with your order number, item to exchange, and preferred size/colour. We will send a pre-paid return label and dispatch your replacement when available.

  ℹ️  EU/EEA tip: The fastest route to a different item is to exercise your right of withdrawal and place a new order. Your statutory right is always available.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

•       Sale items and gift cards

•       Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised

•       Sealed goods not suitable for return for hygiene/health reasons if opened after delivery

•       Goods that have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery

Where an exception applies, we will inform you clearly before you complete your purchase.

REFUNDS

Upon approval of a return or withdrawal:

•       Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days (EU withdrawal) or 10 business days (voluntary return window)

•       Refunds cannot be substituted with store credit or vouchers without your explicit consent

•       Original standard delivery charges are refunded for statutory withdrawals

CANCELLING YOUR ORDER (FROM JUNE 2026)

In line with Directive (EU) 2023/2673, from June 2026 you can cancel your order via the 'Cancel My Contract' function on our website, or by emailing contact@anothersect.com. We will confirm receipt and process your refund promptly.
